Atlantis Dive Resort in Dumaguete has elegantly designed rooms and suites to give you maximum comfort, privacy, and relaxation throughout your stay.  Deluxe rooms feature climate controlled air conditioning, adustable ceiling fans, ensuite facilities, solar heated hot water, cable T.V. with free movie and sports channels, high speed wireless internet, coffee and tea making facilities, a refrigerator, and a fully stocked mini bar (extra cost if used).

Toko’s Restaurant is right on the beach and will provide you with a unique dining experience.  Using fresh local products and flavors, but made to an international standard, Toko’s serves daily changing menus at both lunch and dinner.  Choose from an extensive list of cocktails and shakes, or sip the best coffee in town while enjoying the wonderful view.

Atlantis has a state of the art dive facility which can support all levels of divers.  Nitrox is available for those that are certified.  Even technical and re-breather diving is supported.  Many of their dive guides are instructors and all of them are some of the best spotters in the Philippines.

If you are an underwater photographer, you’ll be treated to one of the most spacious camera facilities at any dive resort.  There are 21 individual stations to store equipment.  There are plenty of power sockets in both 110 and 220 volts with shelf space for battery chargers, air guns for cleaning, and lights to inspect o-rings and gear.  The room is climate controlled and has a 42 inch flat screen TV for viewing photos and videos.

Indulge yourself in any one of a number of services or experiences to make your dive vacation complete.  Refresh yourself in their private pool.  Pamper yourself with a massage or pedicure at their newly renovated Spa featuring four private therapy rooms.  You can also shop for native gifts or get some souvenirs at their boutique.

DIVING

Experience some of the best diving in Dumaguete, Philippines.  World class muck diving is combined with lush reef dives, walls, and macro diving.  Located in the Coral Triangle, home to the greatest biodiversity in the ocean, with over 500 species of corals, 3000 species of fish, and 6 of the 7 species of sea turtles there will be plenty to see.

There are 3 areas to dive, Dauin, Apo Island, and Siquijor.

Dauin

Dauin is the region south of Dumaguete known for its black sand beaches and being a critter haven.  It has been given the name of the frogfish capital of the Philippines.  Some of the most interesting and sought after animals like giant frogfish, hairy frogfish, pygmy seahorses, thorny seahorses, ghost pipefish, mimic octopus, blue ring octopus, wonderpus, flamboyant cuttlefish, leaf fish, a variety of scorpionfish, nudibranchs, mantis shrimp, candy crabs, harlequin shrimp, and many more can be found here.  Along the vibrant reefs you may spot sea turtles and sea snakes.  Trevally and emperors may hunt along the reef.  And in the blue, schools of barracuda and batfish may be found.

Siquijor

Across the channel from Dauin is the island of Siquijor.  Here there are dramatic walls covered in soft corals and sea fans along with a variety of fish.

Apo Island

Apo Island is located off the coast of Dauin and is home to one of the most successful marine reserves in the world.  Be treated to vibrant reefs teeming with an array of marine life, including colorful reef fish, turtles, schools of big eyed jacks, sea snakes, and more.

Oslob

No trip would be complete without having a chance to snorkel with whalesharks.  In Oslob, whalesharks feed in the local waters and it is allowed to snorkel alongside these majestic animals.

Maximize your diving!

Atlantis Resorts makes diving effortless and unforgettable.  You’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore the vibrant marine life of the Philippines since they offer 5 scheduled local dives daily at 8:30am, 10:30am, 2pm, and 4pm, and night dives at 6pm.  Their expert guides help you choose the dive sites and tailor your experience to what you want to see.  Dive groups are limited to no more than 6 people ensuring a more personalized and enjoyable experience.  Diving is convenient with most sites just a quick 10 minute boat ride from the resort.  They carry all your gear, so all you have to do is enjoy the dive.  Looking for something special?  Private dives are also available at an additional cost.
