DIVING

You need to experience it for yourself because the colors, textures and creatures are beyond words.  This is how scuba divers and underwater photographers describe Philippines diving.  The Atlantis Infiniti brings you right to exceptional reefs teeming with marine life and coral reefs many other dive destinations envy.

Our route through the northern Visayas is:

Day 1: Embarkation – Dumaguete Resort

Day 2: Pamilacan Island

Pamilacan is home to steep sloping reefs, large hard and soft corals teeming with fish and rare macro life.  Larger animals like sea turtles and schools of barracuda are commonly found here.

Day 3: Anda Bohol

Famous for its amazing muck diving, the micro critters hiding in the sand will astonish even the most experienced of divers.  Many sites feature sloping reefs and walls.  Here you can see everything from super micro nudibranchs to whale sharks and everything in between.

Day 4: Sogod Bay

A remote location on the south part of Leyte, where few divers venture.  Here the reefs are vibrant and healthy.  Whale sharks and other pelagics are sometimes spotted here.

Day 5: Kimud Shoal and Gato Island

Kimud Shoal is an underwater plateau where pelagics like Thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks, devil rays, tuna, and other shark species can be found.  Gato Island is a marine reserve and sea snake sanctuary.  It features a cave that goes under the island including a spot to surface and see bats.

Day 6: Malapascua Island

A dream destination for Thresher shark sightings.  Sea fans and soft corals are abundant on the sites and many species of nudibranchs and fish are found.

Day 7: Capitancillo Islet

Wall diving with a mix of hard and soft corals with plentiful tropical fish swirling around.  Big fish like snappers, groupers, jacks, mackerels, and sometimes even tuna are spotted.

Day 8: Disembarkation – Dumaguete Resort

All diving is guided dives with a maximum of 6 divers per guide.  Diving is done from 15ft. RIBs.  Up to 4 dives per day including night dives.

Safety

The Atlantis Infiniti provides Nautilis GPS locator devices for each diver and dive crew.  These can used in an emergency and activated on the surface to ping via AIS and radio the Infiniti and any passing vessels.
