If you arrive in Mexico by land or sea and intend to travel beyond the ~35 km “free zone” you will need to get a visitor’s visa known as Forma Migratoria Multiple, or FMM.

People who come to Mexico for leisure or business visits lasting 180 days or less, and who are passport holders of one of the many countries which don’t require a visa to enter Mexico, can complete a FMM visitor’s permit form at the port of entry.

You are now able to fill and print the form online, which affords a faster processing at 21k.  There are two things you need to know before you continue:

1. Coming through the Nogales point of entry is defined as follows:
   1. Nogales DeConcini port of entry is Nogales Una
   2. Nogales Morley port of entry is Nogales Dos
   3. Nogales Mariposa port of entry is Nogales Tres (we use this in the caravan)
2. When filling out the form, your name must appear on the print out exactly as it is on your passport.
   1. If your passport has a first and middle name under the “Given Name”, then you must put those in “Name(s)”.
      
   2. If your passport has a hypenated or two names under “Surname”, then you must put those in “Surname(s)”.
      
3. Traveling to:
   1. San Carlos: When filling out “Address in Mexico*” put the following:
      Marinaterra Hotel, San Carlos Sonora
   2. Himalaya: When filling out “Address in Mexico*” put the following:
      Camping Bahia Himalaya, San Carlos Sonora

If you stay longer than seven  (7) days you will be allowed to pay online.  Make sure you print out the receipt and have it with you.  Once completed you will be able to print the forms, but they will also be emailed to you.

NOTE: If any mistakes are made you will be required to fill the form out by hand at 21k.
