PADI Level: Master Scuba Diver Trainer

About Me: From a young age, I was fascinated by marine life, so pursuing marine biology at the University of Arizona made scuba diving a natural next step. I completed my Open Water certification on a trip to San Carlos and was immediately hooked. Within six months, I earned my Advanced Open Water certification, and by the following year I had completed Nitrox and Rescue certifications and invested in my own full set of dive gear. I later completed graduate-level work in marine biology in Australia, where I logged over 100 dives and gained extensive experience. That time in the water strengthened both my skills and my confidence, and confirmed that diving would always be a central part of my life.

After returning to Arizona, I decided to take the next step by pursuing professional-level training through PADI. I became a PADI Divemaster and, by the following year, a PADI Instructor. Today, I’m proud to share my passion for diving while teaching and mentoring students at The Dive Shop.

Favorite Dive Destination: Galapagos Islands for the sharks, Revillagigedo Islands (Socorro) for the manta rays and whales, Raja Ampat for the diversity of life, and Palau for the healthy reefs.

Favorite Marine Animal: Manta rays, they are so graceful while swimming.

Favorite Dive Gear: I use an Aqua Lung Axiom BCD, Aqua Lung Legend regulator, and a Suunto Ocean dive computer. My camera set up is a Canon S100 in a Recsea housing with Sea & Sea D3 strobes.
