About Me: My SCUBA journey began by getting certified as a Junior Open Water Diver in a water filled rock quarry in the Chicago suburbs circa 1988. As a kid, I had the dream to become a Navy SEAL. Underwater proficiency would be essential! I became a Divemaster while a student at the University of Arizona. I loved being a Divemaster - helping others safely experience the joy of the underwater world. There’s nothing like strapping on a tank and taking the plunge into a whole new world! Our family of adventurers have been diving since the kids were old enough to certify! We enjoy rolling off the side of our inflatable boat and exploring the sea life and wrecks of San Carlos. Recently, I had the honor of joining the ranks of the PADI Instructors. Now I’m able to train our students (local middle and high school) and other new adventurers eager to join the family of divers here at The Dive Shop. What a blessing
