About Me: After my Discover SCUBA on Catalina Island, 2003, Plato's Cave Allegory applied to me. I couldn't unsee the fact that 72% of the planet awaited to introduce itself to me...School, work, Life, delayed my return to this world, but in 2007 Linda Kurick here at TDS certified me as a diver, Dean Perry as Advanced OW, then many other life-long teachers for my specialties including shipwrecks and photography. I love every class as another key into mind-blowing explorations and every teacher as my forever family.

Favorite Dive Destination: The next one.....because I always see, feel, and experience adventures I could not fully imagine until I'm there. There are always new creatures, and new dive buddies from many nations, who will expand and deepen my understanding of the world.
Favorite Marine Animal: I love them all...but mantis shrimp will always be one at the top --- first for the misnomer 'shrimp', secondly for assuming shrimp are monochromatic, and lastly because they pack one of the most powerful punches known to humans. So they live large, out loud in cartoonish multicolor and can move so fast they actually make water boil in front of their punches! And let's figure out how to have mask-technology like their eyes!!
Favorite Dive Gear: Whatever is the most advanced to ensure safety...and to keep me trim so I maintain my 'no touch' rule!
