About Me: Although I have always loved the ocean, I didn't start diving until later in life. But from my first dive, I knew I had found a lifelong passion. There is nothing like exploring the beauty and majesty of the underwater creation! I know no place that is as peaceful and beautiful, and with every dive there is some new discovery. Whether it is enjoying the grace of motion of an eagle ray, the calm power of a whale shark, or the fabulous bright colors of a spanish shawl nudibranch, the beauty of the ocean is beyond compare.
In the past 5 years I have been able to share my love of the sea and of diving as a divemaster and instructor. Being able to introduce someone to the incredible world below the surface of the sea is an absolute joy! I have been blessed to see the unmatched excitement of a 10 year old exploring the underwater world for the first time, or to help an adult fulfill a life long dream of diving with all of the incredible life below.
My goal as a diver is with every dive to become a better diver and to continue to learn about the amazing life in the oceans. I thinks we can all be scientists as we allow our curiosity to drive our desire to understand the complexity of the ecosystems below.
Favorite Dive Destination: Florida Keys, Monteray Bay, Sea of Cortez, Marshall Islands, my bathtub if I get to wear scuba gear.
Favorite Dive Gear: I love my Scubapro Heads Up Display dive computer. It mounts on your mask and you always have access to all of your dive info without having to look at your wrist of console.
